Four Jobs that I've Had
I actually started a blog on this very subject but I never finished it. Here’s a snapshot..........

1.  1972: First job besides babysitting – I worked at Rose’s in the luncheonette in the evenings. No kidding! I wanted this job soooo bad that I went to the manager (Mr Bell) EVERY Friday for about 6 weeks just to let him know that I was still interested in a job there. I had 3 friends that worked there and I just HAD to get in! Then one day out of the blue he up and calls me! I made $1.60 an hour plus tips. I could use my tips for spending money during the week so the paycheck was BIG money! Oh – and I made Banana Splits back when you popped a balloon to see what price you were going to pay between a penny and $1.81.

2. 1979-1987: I worked for a grocery store. And I liked it for the most part – except the pay. I maxed out about my 5th year and never went any higher. I did it ALL though! I started as a meat wrapper (hey hey hey – watch your comments) and then branched out to the deli, bakery, scan analyst and was up for an assistant managers position before I quit and went to work for a wine distribution company.

3. 1994 - 1998: Telemarketing (eww-rah) I decided that I was getting too old to work so hard for the wine company. I could sell like crazy but then I had to build the display, make sure it got filled, move it on the manager’s whim and tear it down when the promotion was over. Do that times like 12 major grocery stores and STILL run a route. And oh - by the way - you only get paid for the damn thing ONCE! So I went to work for a telemarketing company selling credit cards (the heaviest thing I had to lift was my ass off the chair) and somehow got onto the fast track to becoming Call Center Manager. What a shithole job THAT was. Worse thing? I didn’t even know until I was gone!

4. 1998 – 2002: Stumbled into a great opportunity with an international staffing firm. Made great money, fast tracked (again) to management and then had breakfast with the boss one morning in Jan 2002 so he could tell me the office was closing. Like. In. an. Hour. F*!

   4. The Breakfast Club (I have to agree with Boozie on this one)

Four Places I Have Lived
   1. Virginia Beach, VA
   2. Manassas, VA
   3. Newport News, VA
   4. Yorktown, VA (and now LOVE living in Beaufort, NC)

Four TV Shows I Love
   1. Medium (but bfJ gets the creeps watching it so don’t see it much)
   2.The Apprentice (ditto above)
   3.Bones
   4.Does FOOTBALL count? (LOVE FOOTBALL, NFL, College, High School….)

Four Places I Have Vacationed
   1. Nags Head, NC
   2. Duck, NC
   3. Corolla, NC
   4. Corolla, NC (I  r – e- a – l – l – y need to expand my horizons)

Four of My Favorite Dishes
   1. Maine Lobster
   2. Blue Crab Meat
   3. Maine Lobster stuffed with Blue Crab Meat
   4. Steak (Rib Eye cooked Pittsburg style medium rare on charcoal)

Four Sites I Visit Daily
   1. Boozie
   2. Boozie
   3. Boozie
   4. Some others (when they write!)

Four Places I Would Rather Be Right Now 
   1. Somewhere that it is SUMMER
   2. A warm beach
   3. On a boat
   4. Somewhere that it is summer, near a warm beach, on a boat, with an umbrella drink in my hand. 

(All of the above sound like my job except for the umbrella drink - guess I could just "work.")
